Every tradesman has an emotional connection to the tools he has had for a long time . The longer you have had them the stronger the connection. 
I purchased this little laser measure in 2018 because I had so many houses to measure up for the floods ,today it’s still going strong it’s an incredibly accurate measure after 4 years with me on the road and with amazinly durability .
All I have ever had to do is change the batteries. It’s saved me so much time over the years measuring tens of thousands of jobs and well and truly paid for it self over and over again. 
I can’t recommend it enough if you are thinking of purchasing a laser measure .
